PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING RULES AND REGULATIONS CAREFULLY

The Fort Worth Dance Gala welcomes dancers of all nationalities between the ages of 7-30. Professional dancers are permitted to participate in the gala.

Selection Process: Performers for the gala are selected by invitation or through an application process managed by the organizers.

Registration: Participants must complete the registration process, including payment of any applicable fees, by the deadline set by the organizers.

Fees: If a dancer or piece is selected to perform in the Gala, the participation fees will be invoiced directly via email.

Repertoire: Dance gala participants may register to perform classical ballet variations, contemporary pieces, character/folk pieces, pas de deux, or ensemble works approved by the organizers.

Music: All music selections must be appropriate and submitted to the organizers in the required format prior to the gala.

Costumes: Costumes should be appropriate for the chosen repertoire, well-fitted, and in good condition.

Time Limits: Each performance should adhere to specified time limits to ensure the smooth flow of the gala program.

Technical Rehearsals: Participants must attend technical rehearsals as scheduled by the organizers to ensure lighting, sound, and stage requirements are met.

Conduct: All participants are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner towards fellow performers, staff, and audience members.

Stage Etiquette: Performers must adhere to backstage etiquette, including punctuality, quietness, and readiness for their performance slot.

Photography and Recording: Photography and recording during performances may be subject to restrictions and must comply with the organizers' policies.

Props: The use of props is allowed but must be approved by the gala organizers and should not hinder the flow of the performance.

Acknowledgment: Participants are expected to acknowledge the event organizers and sponsors in any promotional material or media coverage related to the gala.

Revisions: The organizers reserve the right to make changes to the program, schedule, or any other aspect of the gala as necessary.

Disqualification: Participants may be disqualified for any violation of the rules and regulations or for disruptive behavior during the gala.

Decision of the Organizers: The decisions of the organizers regarding any aspect of the gala are final and binding.

Fort Worth Dance Gala or it's hosting venue is NOT responsible for any damage, injury, or loss during the gala.

Fort Worth Dance Gala reserves the right to use any photo or video recording of the participants during and after the gala for promotional purposes.

These rules and regulations are put in place to ensure the smooth operation of the ballet gala, maintain the integrity of the performances, and uphold the standards of professionalism within the dance community.
